Apache Flink
Overall Score
3.1

Overview

Apache Flink is an open‑source stream processing framework that unifies real‑time data streaming and batch analytics under a single, streaming‑first runtime. Its Java (and Scala) APIs let developers build high‑throughput, low‑latency pipelines with exactly‑once guarantees, sophisticated event‑time handling, and flexible windowing semantics. Flink also includes specialized libraries for graph processing, machine learning, and complex event detection, and integrates tightly with the Hadoop ecosystem via YARN, HDFS, HBase, and others. The project is actively maintained by the Apache Software Foundation and welcomes contributions from the community.
