Overview

frp is a high‑performance reverse proxy that lets you expose services hidden behind NATs or firewalls to the public Internet. It supports TCP, UDP, HTTP and HTTPS traffic—including custom domains and TLS—while also offering a peer‑to‑peer mode for direct connections. With a rich feature set such as hot‑reloading, dashboards, authentication, compression, and load‑balancing, frp can be fine‑tuned via configuration files or environment variables. Fully open‑source and actively maintained, it provides a flexible foundation for both simple port forwarding and complex, cloud‑native networking scenarios.
