Overview

Linux‑PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) is an open‑source framework that provides a flexible way to integrate various authentication mechanisms into Unix‑like systems. It enables developers and administrators to customize authentication, account, password, and session handling by chaining together small, reusable modules. The project follows a modern build system (Meson) and includes comprehensive test suites to ensure reliability across different Linux distributions. Contributions, bug reports, and enhancements are welcomed through the project's GitHub repository.
