Overview

scrcpy (pronounced “screen copy”) is a free, open‑source utility that mirrors an Android device’s screen and audio onto a computer, allowing full control with the PC’s keyboard, mouse, or gamepad. It works over USB or wirelessly via TCP/IP, requires no root access or companion app on the phone, and runs on Linux, Windows, and macOS. Despite its tiny footprint, scrcpy delivers 1080p + video at 30‑120 fps with latency as low as 35 ms, and supports audio forwarding, screen recording, camera mirroring, virtual displays, and bidirectional copy‑paste. A rich set of command‑line options makes it easy to use the device as a remote display, webcam, or input source in a highly configurable way.
